My journey to becoming a counsellor began during a 20-year teaching career working in Special Educational Needs. Through supporting students and their families, alongside my own positive experiences of therapy, I realised my true passion lay in helping people understand themselves and overcome their challenges to reach their full potential.
Counselling offered me a meaningful way to empower individuals, providing a safe and supportive space where they can explore their issues and find positive ways to move forward in their lives.
Following this calling, I transitioned from teaching and achieved a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Wiltshire College. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work strictly within their ethical framework.
Alongside my private practice, my clinical experience includes volunteering as a counsellor for a local wellbeing charity, as well as working closely with adult survivors of sexual abuse through a specialist charity. These roles have given me a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and depression, and have reinforced my belief in the healing power of being truly listened to.

Since qualifying, I have been dedicated to continuously developing my practice to offer the best possible support to my clients. Through ongoing training, I have expanded the ways I can help, which now includes:
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your professional practice, my goal is always to offer a warm, empathetic, and completely non-judgemental environment where you feel genuinely heard.
